I am certified with the following companies in areas as noted. Most of these certifications are transferable to other companies that hire me should they have a particular requirement.

This list also lists companies that I have exceptional skill sets with. A description of each is provided so that you will have a better idea of what I have to offer from that particular company and their products. I have had training from all of the companies mentioned.

However, this is not a static list as I tend to get quite accustom to new products from new companies all the time.

A-PLUS Certified
I am A+ Certified from the Computing Technology Industry Association. This is an industry standard for computer knowledge covering printing technology, computer technology and software technology. This is a basic requirement if you want to do authorized service for companies like IBM Compaq and Toshiba etc. I have held this certification since April of 1998.

IBM Certified
I have been certified with IBM now since early in 1993. This has been for their mobile and desktop systems.

I have in-depth training with IBM. I have had many product courses over the years with IBM including servicing their LAPTOPS, DESKTOPS and FILE SERVERS. I am very comfortable in dealing with any of their products and with the company itself. I have been servicing IBM products for well over 13 years now.

IBM  PSS Certified
I am an IBM Professional Server Specialist (PSS) for IBM's line of Netfinity Servers. These servers range from small systems to extremely large platforms. I have held this certification since October 1998. I am also a subscriber to the "Tech Connect" product Training and Support service.

Compaq Certified
I am currently certified from Compaq on all their current Laptops and Desktop systems. This should remain so for the next year or so depending on how their product line changes and how the merger with HP goes. In the past , I had been certified on the ProLiant and Prosignia line of servers that Compaq offers. This certification was lost due to the requirements of Compaq changing to only have MCSE's and CNE's with this accreditation.

Compaq is another company I am well versed in for service. I have quite an in-depth knowledge of their LAPTOP, DESKTOP and SERVER Systems. I have had several service and product training courses over the years and like IBM, I am extremely comfortable with dealing with their product line and with the company. I have been servicing Compaq products for over 11 years.

Hewlett Packard Certified
Along with being authorized for their Network Printers and some of their older imaging products, I am certified for some the HP NetServer servers.

I am well versed in servicing the Laser Jet series of HP's printers. I feel good in servicing just about any Laser Printer HP has, whether trained on it or not. I do have good experience with their Desk Jet series as well. Also, having been certified to do service work on some their lines of HP FILE SERVERS, I have worked on a few of them. This product has never been a mainstay of my service offerings. I have been servicing HP products for close to 14 years.

Lexmark Certified
I am certified on most all Lexmark printers including both their Liquid Ink and Laser technologies.

I  have been working on Lexmark printers from back in the days when they were known as IBM/Lexmark. I feel equally comfortable in fixing their Laser and Liquid Ink technologies. I have been working with Lexmark products for over 10 years.

Toshiba Certified
I am certified on all Toshiba laptops and their other mobile products. I was last certified for Toshiba in 2002.

I am very familiar with their products from a service standpoint. I am quite comfortable in servicing their products and have been doing so on an ongoing bases. I have been servicing Toshiba products for about 6 years.

Epson Certified
I am very familiar with Epson products from a service standpoint although it has been at least 4 years since I have taken any of their courses though. I had been certified with all of their printers in the past, 5 years in total and have not kept up with their corporate certification requirements due to my employers’ requirements. I do however still feel quite comfortable in servicing their products and have been doing so on an ongoing basis. I have been servicing their products for about 10 years.
